Shoes and Homework

{Update: I went to get the bloodwork drawn today. We won't know the results until late Monday, so I'll probably post about it then or on Tuesday. None of the phone numbers worked the other day to get the box, but the secretary at Asas typed us up a very official request letter and we sent other proof that I am pregnant (they were wondering why we were getting that box...again, I'm assuming it is the box from my midwife). They should've received that letter that we sent either Wednesday or yesterday. So, hopefully we will be hearing something from them soon. We did just receive our prenatals in the mail though...woohoo. Thanks Justin and Jen for making the best prenatals in the world!! Just 2 more boxes to go (one of which is the one being detained). Thanks for the continued prayers.}

Grady's Granny sent him some new shoes (among alot of other things) a while back. He wore his new shoes for the first time to school on Monday.

He also had his first homework on Monday (he's had homework almost every night this week). Oh my. We did it Tuesday morning before lunch. Hadley of course had to have some "homework" too...actually, she just wanted to "color like Grady do's." :-)

Here are the pics...

Nice.
His Daddy wants a pair just like them.

Not bad. I actually saw one of his papers at school the other day and wondered if they had helped him. He had not been coloring in the lines before he went off to Portuguese class. Nice to have the "positive peer pressure" of the kids in that area...that's what I'm assuming did it anyway, just seeing how the other kiddos colored within the lines. I was impressed. We're very proud of him. It's so fun seeing your kiddo do new things and improving in different areas.

Can I tell you how wonderful it is to have your updates. If only the rest of us were as committed as you are. You're amazing Michawn. Praying for you!

Hey. Is one of the boxes you are waiting on from me? It is probably the one with the tea. That will be the last box of that bunch. Then there is one I sent this week. The kids are adorable doing their homework. Grady looks too old though. In the picture of him just concentrating on his homework, Hadley is making sure to be in the picture. So cute - such a ham with smiles all over her face.
Love,
Mama

Grady is getting so big...so grown up. I can totally see first born traits in him. What a great little fella you have!
