Nesting - Delayed Reaction

I had a couple of little bitty short spurts of the nesting thing while pregnant. I guess this right now isn't really nesting...just a VERY OVERWHELMING NEED to get organized and get things in order...in every area of our lives and in every corner of our house. It's Spring (actually, it's Fall here, but I think to me this will always be Spring), so I guess we could just call it Spring cleaning, now couldn't we? Whatever you want to call it though, it takes time. Guess where I will be pulling time from in order to do this, at least this week...yep, alotted blogging time will now be cleaning/organizing time each day (and then some). So, at least for this week, I will not be blogging every day like I've recently made the habit of doing (I just have so much to say...ha ha ha). I'll still post I'm sure, but probably just not every day. Just a heads-up.

I'll leave you with a few shots of our family photo session last week. It always cracks me up to see the shots we get when doing one of these little sessions, esp. when the way we are taking the pictures are with a timed camera on a tripod (vs. a real person for the kids to look at). Someday I'll have to post all the pictures of our Christmas card photo session...it was equally entertaining. Also last week we got some individual shots. I'll post those soon too. In the meantime though, enjoy these. See you in a few days.

I love this one. It's just so them. Joel was setting up the camera and doing a test shot. They were just hanging out, waiting.

Don't you just love how uncommon it is for everyone to be looking at the camera and smiling all at the same time?

Eissa had escaped.

We decided to do a goofy/crazy picture to end with. I look completely terrifying, the way the camera is angled on my wide eyes. But, other than that, it's a cute, fun pic.

Hope you enjoyed...and didn't get too scared by me in that last picture. :)

Michawn, I betcha when you were pregnant you wanted some chocolate but didn't get some. That is why Cass has a chocolate spot on her. That is also why one of my babies had a strawberry like mark on her when she was born. Living in Brazil different principles come into play. One common know fact is that a pregnant lady should not be denied anything she's hungry for or it it may show up on the baby -as we have experienced. In USA of course that doesn't happen I've been told.
As you learn the language and learn 'new' things one graciously keeps a straight face and accepts the 'facts' the older ladies pass from generation. Younger ones with education often do not believe it but honor the one who told it. Pam

Good luck with the cleaning/organizing. I never got the nesting thing before Daniel arrived. Maybe it will hit me like a delayed reaction! Hopeful thinking! Love the pictures...even the scary one!
