I was sitting in the hammock today with Grady. I had just gotten back from walking with Gillian to the orphanage so that I could translate a bit for her. Hadley and Eissa had gone with us. Grady and Cass had stayed behind.
While I was gone apparently the phone had rung. Grady said that Eliane hadn't answered it. I asked if he had answered it. He said no. I asked him who he thought it was. He thought about it awhile. These were his thoughts that flowed out of his mouth.
"I think it was God."
I was quiet. Just sat there, listening. Grady was looking all around outside and thought for a while after he said that. Then, very matter-of-factly...
"No, it wasn't God. He doesn't have a phone."

That's hilarious. Don't you just wish you knew what he was thinking about during the pause between those two phrases. Oh to get inside those little brains. :)
