Oldie But Goodie - Kids' Flops

Well, I am not the only one who wore out their flip flops...literally. These weren't nearly as old as my Reefs, but they weren't as thick and nice either. I mean, at less than $5 a pop at Old Navy, I'm thinking we got our money's worth. Grady wore them for well over a year and just like me, was basically the only shoe he wore for that whole time. Here are some pictures of his dead flip-flops...

But, this is what had happened.
And almost completely worn through in the heel anyway...probably days away from a hole being there where the flip-flop material used to be.

Hadley had a matching pair. She lost one of her shoes back in the fall though. So, she's been without a pair of these brown flip flops for a long time. Well, Joel cut Grady's remaining intact flop, which just happened to be the same one (right vs. left) that Hadley was missing, so now she has a makeshift pair again. :) All is well in the flip flop world again.
