Day Delay

Joel and the pilot that will be with him, Marcos, were delayed today. First of all, they were missing a document that was needed that they could only get this morning. Secondly, it was raining there. So, they will be heading out tomorrow morning around 6am their time (7am my time, 5am Louisiana time, etc.). They are planning to fly all day tomorrow and all day Sunday. They will be landing before dark each day to rest and sleep for the night. They plan to do their last bit of flying on Monday morning, about 3 hours or so, and be back here by noon. If they have strong tailwinds, it is even a slight possibility they will make it back Sunday...but, we are just planning for Monday.

He has been having a great time there in Boa Vista. It's been a great learning experience for him for sure. He's really learned alot about how each Asas base works. It's been really, really good and he's met some great people.

Thanks for your continued prayers for him (them) as they fly back. We appreciate you and will keep you posted.
