Joel was supposed to take his last big final check ride today, but all week he just wasn't feeling like he was ready. So, yesterday we made a big decision. He has 60 days to take his check ride, so we will go back to Longview and somehow he will just fly there to get more practice...then he will make his way back to Dallas to take his check ride later.
So, now we are on vacation. :) We're having fun on our vacation! Today we woke up and went to IHOP, then to the Galleria for a last little visit, went to a place where they have the 3 most popular maternity stores in one store (spent about 3 1/2 hours and some $$ there), and now we are just here at the room doing laundry and getting ready to head out tomorrow.
Tomorrow we head to Granbury to visit with Justin and Jen Sprayberry for a couple of days...then back to Longview probably Sunday after lunch.
Prayer requests:
1) flight opportunities for Joel in Longview, which isn't usually an easy/cheap thing to get
2) the sell of our house
