Another Quickie

:) Sorry. My internet time is just really limited these days. I am now at the internet place with all 3 kids, so yeah...not much time.

Just wanted to check in though, so you don't wonder about what is going on. We went to the consulate's house in Brasilia yesterday for the 4th of July thing. It was a good time, but not what I expected. I'll write more about that later.

Today we start the process of getting things in order to move into the seminary house next week. That is, we get to go shopping...woohoo. We have tons to get...you know, a whole household full of stuff. Little things like a refrigerator, couch, crib, etc. :)

We also need to get all signed up for our health insurance here and get the rest of our shots.

Also, huge prayer request that I haven't mentioned yet I don't think. Our shipment...our 5 crates full of stuff that we sent here from the states...it's stuck in the port in Santos. Our shipping company in the states failed to send the proper documentation needed for customs. So, we now have a big fine, equivalent to about $2600...and more is added everyday. We have sent an email to the headquarters of our shipping company stating the facts and we are expecting them to pay for the fine that has been given us because of their error. Please pray for favor and quick resolution. It would be nice to have our things soon, esp. since we move into the new house and can begin unpacking next week. The shipping company will be reading the email when they open this morning on the west coast. So, we should get a response from them sometime today.
